Interior Floor Leveling in Salt Lake City — Precision floor leveling and expert installations
Levelpro Floor Solutions LLC corrects uneven interior floors across Salt Lake City and Park City to prepare for LVP, hardwood, tile, or laminate. Experienced, local crews led by owner Joseph Robertson.
Levelpro Floor Solutions LLC specializes in interior floor leveling and subfloor repair for homes and small commercial spaces throughout Salt Lake City, including The Avenues, Sugar House, Downtown near City Creek Center and the Salt Palace, East Bench by the University of Utah, Liberty Park, and Millcreek. We diagnose the root cause of dips, waves, and sloping floors and apply proven solutions — from subfloor patching and plywood repair to self-leveling compounds and joist stabilization — so your new floor goes down flat and stays flat.
With more than 27 years in the flooring trade (established 1999), owner Joseph Robertson leads a team experienced in preparing subfloors for LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile installations. Typical projects include leveling before installations in condos near The Gateway, older bungalows in 9th & 9th, and mountain properties in Park City where settling or moisture damage has affected the subfloor. We combine on-site assessment, moisture testing, and the right materials to deliver a durable, long-lasting substrate.
We also handle demolition and floor preparation when existing flooring must be removed, and we repair damage from rot, water, or structural movement. Our work is practical and focused: we stop squeaks, remove ridges, and create a uniform surface that meets manufacturers’ flatness requirements for your chosen finish flooring.
How It Works
Step 1 — On-site inspection and assessment
We start with a thorough walk-through and diagnostic of the floor, measuring slope and deflection, checking subfloor fasteners, and identifying moisture or rot. You’ll get a clear explanation of causes and options (patch, grind, plane, sister joist, or self-leveling compound).
Step 2 — Preparation and repair
We handle demo and removal of existing floor coverings if needed, repair or replace damaged subfloor panels or joists, and install backer or underlayment where required. All repairs follow manufacturer tolerances for the finish floor you plan to install.
Step 3 — Leveling and final check
We apply the chosen leveling method — primer and self-leveling compound, screed, or targeted shimming — then verify flatness with a laser and long straightedge. After the substrate cures, we perform a final inspection and provide recommendations for the finish-floor installation.
